(More customer reviews)This is by far the WORST appliance I have ever purchased. It all started when I noticed an extremely foul rotten eggs smell. Called the manufacturer who told me to check the filter. Turns out a sock got caught in there and stunk up the machine.
I thought things were fixed but after this happened I noticed it wouldn't drain certain loads of wash (towels and slightly larger loads). I would end up with sopping wet clothes.
As if that wasn't enough sometimes it would lock the door but other times (when it probably should have locked) it wouldn't.
The last straw was when the washer "exploded". After less than three years of having the washer, I was washing a very thin mattress pad. All of the sudden I heard a loud thump and crash. When I entered the laundry room I found my washer moved out three feet from the wall on a diagonal with the door and detergent draw wide open and the washer STILL SPINNING! I'm lucky the washer didn't fall through to the basement.
I called customer service right away and they told me there is nothing they can do. I would have to PAY for a repair. No way! This thing is going to the curb. I am never purchasing another Frigidaire product again. WORST SERVICE EVER!
