My new furniture was annoying as it was hard to close the reclining sofa, loveseat, and rocker without sliding, causing me to have to almost slam the recliner shut. Not any more with these little gadgets! Now I enjoy my furniture without sliding all over the place. I used these on finished hardwood floors, and I can't really see them so they don't take away from the beauty of the furniture! If you have reclining furniture, you won't be dissappointed. I only wish I had purchased a few more for my washer!
I suggest buying these much cheaper directly from the distributor, Mars Distributing, Inc. (DMI) [...], as on sale from $3.85/pack of 4 (for 1 pack) to $3.23/pack of 4 (for 12 packs), depending on how many you purchase, the more you buy, the cheaper the cost/pack. Currently, as of 4/9/11, the regular price is only $4.99 (for 1 pack) to $59.99/pack of 4 (for 12 packs). Hope this helps other skeptics!

Protect your walls and furniture from damage by not allowing the Bed, Couch, Reclining Chair or Large Chair from making contact with it.Just Lift the corner of the furniture and Slide the pad under the leg. NO Glue is used that might slip or loosen later or adhere to the bottom of the leg. Also if you want to rearrange your furniture you can. Just take the pads out from under the legs. Move your furniture and then put the pads under the legs again. The Pressure exerted from the weight of the furniture and transfered to the leg provides the connection needed to stop movement. The pad grips onto the leg and equally onto the floor at the same time, locking the floor and the leg together. Later when you replace your furniture, re-use the same pads since they were not glued to the bottom of the legs of the furniture you are replacing.
