(More customer reviews)My husband and I needed a washer and dryer. After reading the reviews for the Whirlpool 4.0 cu. ft. Front Load Washer, we decided to purchase it April 9, 2011. We purchased it from Sears and receive free shipping and a great discount! Saving over 30%. (Great for our Military budget!) So far so good. It is relatively quiet. The machine does get a little noisy during the spin cycle but nothing too noticeable. We are in a small apartment and I can watch tv without it bothering me. The only reason for not giving a rating of 5 is because small items such as socks get stuck in the rubber rim, but for the price it is worth it!
