(More customer reviews)This was our second power washer. Our first was much more powerful (1750 psi). It could take the paint off the deck. It actually was too powerful for the kinds of jobs we needed. We were very happy with the new Campbell Haufeld 1300 pressure washer. It had enough power to clean the deck and lawn furniture easily. It is light and compact and much easier to use and store. I would have given this product 5 stars - but the auto detail kit was really not worth much. The pressure washer itself was a great deal!

(More customer reviews)This product arrived quickly and in good condition. The set-up was strait forward and easy. The pressure washer worked GREAT for about 15 minutes, and then it lost pressure. Per the trouble-shooting section of the instruction manual, I checked all the connections to make sure none were sucking air, and then I tried again, but the unit still would not create any water pressure. I phoned the manufacturer and was given the same advice (check the connections), so I did that again without luck. Frustrated, I set it aside and tried again today. This time I wrapped thread seal (plumber's tape) on the threads of the connection between the wand and the pressure hose. I also replaced the gaskets in the inlet hose; however, the fourth time was not a charm - the unit's motor ran and the water flowed, but with no more pressure than a garden hose. It's heading back for a refund.

Power Boss 020309 3,000 psi 2.5 Gallon-Per-Minute Honda GC190 Gas-Powered Pressure Washer Review

(More customer reviews)This is my second Briggs & Stratton power washer. The first one died an untimely death, but I blame myself for not draining all the water out before a winter freeze.
Anyway, when I decided to replace it I knew I needed more power (who doesn't?), so I looked seriously at 3,000 psi units. Here's what I liked about the Briggs Power Boss:
1) Honda engine. Kind of strange that Briggs would put a Honda engine on one of their products, but I think Honda makes some of the best small gasoline powered engines. It starts right up and runs great.
2) The sealed pump that requires no maintenance. Considering how much homeowners actually use their pressure washers, I doubt that many (or any) were changing the pump oil as recommended. This eliminates that hassle.
3) The large gas tank lets you run the unit until you're probably thankful that it finally ran out of gas.
4) Pneumatic wheels make the unit easy to move around.
5) Quick-connect sprayer tips.
6) On-board detergent tank. My old p/w just had a suction tube, so if you wanted to move the unit you had to be careful not to knock over the detergent bottle and spill it.
In a perfect world, the pump would be made of solid brass, but that would entail a major cost increase. I would also prefer a longer (maybe 50') hose, but maybe that's the laws of physics kicking in -- it may not be practical on a 3,000 psi unit.
Overall operation is simple, and the unit does pretty much everything I could reasonably expect it to. Anything more and I should get myself a true commercial model, but that's a big jump in price.
I can highly recommend this unit.

The only problem I've had so far is that I can't seem to get the intake valve to suck up soap water yet. The motor and pump work excellent though. I am so glad I got one on Amazon too; it was about $150.00 cheaper than going to the places in town.

I was looking for something to clean the brick pavers in the backyard and driveway. This thing did the job. The vario wand it comes with made my backyard look like new after 3 hours of work. It cleaned thoroughly without the need of detergents (even though I bought it).
*Comes with a 'safety' so kids can't pull the trigger.
*Only sprays when you pull the trigger.
*Be careful with the vario wand....it stripped paint off of wood fencing.
*Super easy assembly and operation. I mean easy.
*Cords were long enough to leave the main unit in one end of the backyard while I walked around with the wand. 25' Wand cord and even longer electric cord.
*Wasn't noisy at all. I thought I would need earplugs but the noise it produces it definitely easy to deal with. No neighbors complained or even peeped out to see what was happeninig. A benefit of electric I guess.
*Got it at Lowes though. Needed it asap.
Cons:
*Needs a way to keep trigger depressed to alleviate hand strain.
*Wheels only roll on rough surfaces. A bit clunky rotating.
*Hard to screw in water hose. I feel the hose entry port should be easier to access. (It's in the front recessed inside the housing)
*Cord storage could be better. It has a hanger on the front but it just barely accommodates the wand cord and electric cord.
Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. This is my first pressure washer, btw. The cons are not really a big deal to me. The performance blew me away and overrides the small setbacks.

It did NOT fit the quick-connect ends on my new Karcher G-3025BH, even with the adapter. It DOES seem like a better hose than the 25 foot Karcher hose that came with the pressure washer. I am going to take the 2 hoses to the hardware store to see if they can make them work. My time, my gas....maybe the company that is implying that this non-Karcher hose fits Karcher stuff will pay for my parts at the hardware store? Naaaaa! It is not good business to deceive customers!
